What you can expect

Jargon Free

We are a friendly firm of Chartered Accountants that believe strongly in using everyday words when we talk to our clients. We have heard stories of accountants shouting at and bullying clients, as well as talking down to them and confusing them. We are not like that at all. We try to avoid jargon and love dialogue with our clients.

Fair Fees

We do not charge for every telephone call or email. Where possible we try to agree fees up front. We also have regular, usually monthly, billing. This means when you work with us you know where you are – there will be no nasty surprises. All of this seems honest and straightforward to us – a Yorkshire approach to business.

Locations

Our office is located in the heart of the business quarter of Leeds, West Yorkshire. The majority of our clients are based in Leeds, Bradford, Harrogate, Wetherby and Wakefield; with other clients located across England and Wales, including London, Oxford and Cardiff.

Quality of Services

It goes without saying that we know our stuff – we are qualified accountants and specialist small business accountants. We can prepare accounts and tax returns, we advise our clients as they work with us and we see their businesses grow. We are also good at the straightforward stuff: VAT returns, filing at Companies House, payrolls and so the list goes on.

Appropriate Technology

We like technology: there are a number of cloud accounting packages out there, for example Xero, they may be better suited for your business than the usual easy suggestion of most accountants. We also are prepared to communicate with our clients not only via emails but with tweets and texts, though when necessary we can also use a formal letter signed off with an ink pen.

You come first

Ultimately every client is different. You all have different concerns and aspirations. We always remember that you have a choice. We are passionate about our clients, we want the best for you and we want to get excited about your business. We will set out different options that resolve your issues, we will say what we would do if we were you, but ultimately it is your business, the choice is yours and we respect that.
